Is Humility a Strength or Weakness in Leaders? What do you think?

There is a paradigm that leaders need to be aggressive, avoid admitting mistakes and talk more than listen. Does this make for better leaders? Study after study shows that the best leaders have high emotional intelligence and are humble.
In the book “Good to Great” the top leaders “Level 5” are humble and care more about the people (cause) than about themselves. In the book “Legacy” about one of the most winning teams of all times, the All Blacks Rugby Team from New Zealand, the 2 top leaders of the team show their humility by sweeping the floor before a game.
Humility is a great value and a tremendous strength in leaders. Humble leaders learn from their mistakes, get better by auto-reflecting and let others shine above themselves. Think about making humility in your leaders part of your corporate culture. There is power in being less powerful. Be humble and encourage this behavior in others.
